The habitat status is reported in classes based on the definition of ′favourable conservation status′ provided in Article 1 of the Habitats Directive. The ′unfavourable′ status is divided into three categories, reflecting its development towards ′favourable′. For reasons of readability, the species and trend in habitat conservation status categories on FISE are labelled ′improving′ for a unfavourable-improving trend, stable for a unfavourable-stable trend, and deteriorating for a unfavourable-deteriorating trend.
