Wallonia: Inventaire Forestier Wallon - Résultats 1994 - 2012

The primary purpose of this document is to present an inventory of the Walloon forest on the basis of observations and measurements made during the first cycle of the inventory carried out from February 1994 to April 2008, as well as to draw the first trends in evolution from information collected during the second inventory in progress since May 2008 and the first results of which are currently available for the period from 2008 to 2012. But this dashboard is much more than a description; it integrates a detailed approach to the Walloon forest in many aspects: occupied areas, standing timber capital, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of stands, indicators of sustainable management and plant biodiversity are the subject of an in-depth analysis rich in unpublished information.
