The national catalog of virgin and quasi-virgin forests in Romania - 2019

The catalog of virgin and quasi-virgin forests in Romania is published on the website of the Ministry of Waters and Forests. On May 14, 2019, the Catalog includes a total area of 6,947.22 ha of virgin forests and 22,116.36 ha of quasi-virgini forests. Over the last two and a half years, 4.378 ha of virgin forests and 11.791 ha of quasi-virgin forests have been introduced in the catalog.
