The national catalog of virgin and quasi-virgin forests in Romania - 2016

The national catalog of virgin and quasi-virgin forests in Romania is an instrument of evidence of virgin and quasi-virgin forests in our country and of ensuring strict protection for these forests. The catalog was based on the Order of the Minister of Environment, Water and Forests no. 1417 / 11.07.2016. It includes forest areas that meet the criteria and indicators for identifying virgin and quasi-forest forests defined in the Order of the Minister of Environment and Forests no. 3397/2012.
