The French Forest - The results from the Inventory campaigns © Inventaire forestier national, 2010

After five annual inventory campaigns, the National Forest Inventory publishes its first final results. These are the result of observations and measurements carried out on nearly 34,000 inventory points during the five annual campaigns conducted from November 2004 to November 2009 (2005-2009). The figures produced are in line with the establishment's goal contract: to provide and disseminate in 2010 national and regional results on the forest.
