Spanish Inventory of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity

The Spanish Inventory of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity is one of the instruments for the knowledge and planning of natural heritage and biodiversity, together with the State Strategic Plan for Natural Heritage and Biodiversity and the Natural Resources Management Plans , in accordance with Law 42/2007, of December 13, on Natural Heritage and Biodiversity. On May 12, 2011, Royal Decree 556/2011 of April 20 came into force for its development. Regrouping of already existing information that is available in the different public administrations although, in many cases, in a dispersed, heterogeneous or difficult to access way.
