Schweizerisches Landesforstinventar Ergebnisse der vierten Erhebung 2009-2017

The surveys for the fourth Swiss National Forest Inventory (NFI) took place between 2009 and 2017, on average eight years after the third survey. The results on the state and development of the Swiss forest are comprehensively presented and explained. The report is structured thematically according to the European criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management: forest resources, health and vitality, timber production, biodiversity, protective forest and socio-economy. A sustainability assessment based on NFI results concludes the publication.
