Report on the Status of the Romania Forest 2013

Romania's National Forest Fund occupies the area of ??6,539,000 ha on 31.12.2013.
This area is consisting of two main ownership bodies: The State Forestry Fund, which is under the administration of the National Forestry Directorate - Romsilva occupies an area of ??3,227,907 ha.
The area of ??the national forest fund held by 'Owners other than the State' occupies an area of 3,311,000 ha.
Ongoing statistics in this report (Chapter 2) are expressed in percentages, for which in many cases the NFI is indicated as the source data (NFI total forest area as of 2012: 6,900,962 ha). THESE FIGURES DO NOT CHANGE IN THE REPORTS SINCE 2012.
