Report on the Status of the Romania Forest 2007

Romania's National Forest Fund occupies the area of ??6,484,572 ha on 31.12.2007.
This area is consisting of two main ownership bodies: The State Forestry Fund, which is under the administration of the National Forestry Directorate - Romsilva occupies an area of ??3,668,914 ha.
The area of ??the national forest fund held by 'Owners other than the State' occupies an area of 2,815,658 ha.
Ongoing statistics in this report (Chapter 2) are expressed in percentages. FIGURES PROVIDED MOSTLY IDENTICAL WITH YEAR 2005 VALUES.
