Report on the Status of the Romania Forest 2005

Romania's National Forest Fund occupies the area of ??6,390,536 ha on 31.12.2005.
This area is consisting of two main ownership bodies: The State Forestry Fund, which is under the administration of the National Forestry Directorate - Romsilva occupies an area of ??4,234,142 ha.
The area of ??the national forest fund held by 'Owners other than the State' occupies an area of 2,156,394 ha.
