Flanders: The forest inventory of the Flemish Region - Results of the first 1997-1999 inventory

The Report summarizes the results of the First Flemish Forest Inventory (1997-1999). There are two main parts in the report: Part 1 - Methodology, Part 2 - Results of the Forest and Tree attributes data collection, part 3 - Results on vegetation recordings leading to a classfication of forest plant communities, namely 32 Forest Types distinguished based on the floristic composition of the herb moss layer. Data is available for 9 Forestry Districts, that could be aggregated to NUTS 2 level.
