Annual reports of the National Registry of Base Materials

The National Registry of Base Materials (RNMB) collects information on base materials authorized in Spain. Each of the registered source materials is also called an "intake unit". The Base Material is made up of those populations, plantations and clones from which the forest reproduction material (seeds, plants and parts of plants) is obtained to be used in the repopulations. Currently approved base material types are: Seed Sources, Stands, Seed Orchards, Family Parents, Clones, and Clone Mix. The annual report includes, among other information, the number, distribution, characteristics and total area of the existing admission units.
