Lithuanian Forestry Statistics 2015 is the sixteenth annual publication about Lithuanian forest resources, forestry, protected areas, forest protection, wood industry (including furniture), trade in timber and timber products and the economy. The book presents official information of various institutions and organizations. The first two chapters contain statistical data about forests up to 1st January 2016. Data from the Stand wise Forest Inventory (SFI) and the National Forest Inventory (NFI) was used to describe the forest resources. Data on areas of Lithuanian forests was provided by SFI. Information collected about Lithuania’s forest growing stock volume, its increment, balance sheets, distribution of property, forest groups and tree species are presented in accordance with NFI data. SFI data were used to characterize some of the forests of state enterprises.
